I’m issued of a Brazilian-Lebanese immigrant family. Born in Caracas, 1977, to a Brazilian mother and an architect Venezuelan father. Graduated in 1999 with praise by Academic Institute of Higher Studies in Plastic Arts Armando Reverón (IUESAPAR), Caracas. In 2000 I was  rst ranked to attend Master’s Degree on Image Technology in the Federal University of Minas Gerais School of Fine Arts [EBA-UFMG]. I was granted by CAPES scholarship and my dissertation found honourable mention with publication recommended by the jury in 2002.

In 2004 I moved to Paris and lived for 8 years. During this time I meet collectors, sponsors and critics that follows and supports my practice. I have received awards that have encouraging me, allowing me to show my work in art fairs, galleries and International Institutions.

I live in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, since 2011, where I took up residence and I continue on developing my work.

The issues that motivate my work concerns the memory and dailiness of the “house” as an intimate space, as an inhabited place.

My works inquire into the permanency of spaces and objects and the transiency of human presence. I start from an iconographic, bibliographical, historical and photographical research that allows me to go further into my subject matter.

My production is also anchored in the observation, contemplation and personal and spatial experience of the selected site, which I transfer to annotations, sketches and research notebooks before creating on the canvas.

Through a personal methodology of research and pictorial creation, I aim to create drawings and oils that can send others to their own spatial references, memories and emotions, proposing a memorial experience beyond geographical or cultural limits.
